Recording the Angel הוא פרויקט של להקת המוזיקה האלקטרונית הבריטית דפש מוד בשיתוף עם חברת התקליטים Live Here Now. מטרת הפרויקט הייתה להקליט את הופעותיהם באביב (צפון אמריקה) ובקיץ (אירופה ואסיה) של סיבוב ההופעות Touring the Angel לקידום אלבום האולפן ה-11 של הלהקה, Playing the Angel.
מתוך 46 ההופעות שהוקלטו, רק 43 יצאו למכירה, והיו זמינים לרכישה בסוף המופע (וקבלת האלבום מספר חודשים לאחר הוצאתו), דרך הורדה דיגיטלית או דרך אתר החברה. כל ההוצאות עוצבו באותה צורה, למעט כיתוב התאריך ומקום המופע.
