טיוטה:מיכאל קרן (מדעי המדינה)

מיכאל קרן הוא פרופסור ישראלי למדע המדינה. כיהן כפרופסור מן המניין באוניברסיטת קלגרי, קנדה, בה גם כיהן כיו"ר הקתדרה לתקשורת, תרבות וחברה אזרחית. הוא כיהן גם באוניברסיטת תל אביב, בה היה ראש החוג למדע המדינה וראש המכון לחקר העיתונות והתקשורת היהודית, במכללה האקדמית עמק יזרעאל ושימש שם דיקן בית הספר לתקשורת, חברה וממשל. כיום מכהן במכללה האקדמית גליל מערבי.

תחומי המחקר שלו כוללים פילוסופיה פוליטית|תיאוריה פוליטית, פוליטיקה וספרות, תקשורת פוליטית, אינטלקטואלים ופוליטיקה.
